                                                                Pendahuluan



A.     Latar Belakang
          Minat orang terhadap tempe tidak lah kecil. Meskipun dahulu tempe pernah diremehkan sabagai bahan makanan khusus bagi golongan orang tak beruang.  Namun kini tempe disukai rakyat negeri Indonesia.  Karena tempe merupakan makanan sehat dan akan kaya gizi yang baik untuk tubuh. Tempe juga sebagai sumber protein dalam tubuh , ternyata kedudukan tempe bisa dipakai  sebagai bahan pengganti daging, yang secara ekonomis harga tempe jauh lebih murah.
Namun kini, tempe banyak yang sudah mengandung bahan bahan berbahaya yang tidak baik untuk kesehatan tubuh. Kenyataannnya penulis sering mendengar berita tersebut di berita televisi.
Penulis akan membahas masalah alat, bahan dan cara membuat tempe. Hal tersebut perlu ditindak lanjuti untuk dapat memahami pembuatan tempe yang tidak mengandung bahan berbaya.

B.     Identifikasi Masalah
Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah, masalah – masalah yang muncul dapat diidentifikasi sebagai berikut :
1.    Alat – alat yang digunakan
2.    Bahan yang digunakan
3.    Cara pembuatan tempe
                                              
C.     Rumusan Masalah
Bagaimana cara membuat tempe dengan mudah dan bahan yang sederhana ?

D.     Tujuan
1.    Agar kita mengetahui bagaimana cara membuat tempe
2.    Agar kita mengetahui apasaja bahan yang digunakan  untuk pembuatan tempe, berbahaya atau tidak.

E.     Metode
Metode yang digunakan ialah Metode Pustaka yaitu metode dengan mencari informasi dibuku dan Internet

                                                                          Pembahasan

A.    Alat – alat Pembuatan Tempe

 Seperti :
1.    Baskom
2.    Saringan
3.    Dandang
4.    Kipas Angin /Kipas
5.    Sotel kayu
6.    Tampah
7.    Kompor
8.    Rak
9.    Alat pengaduk
10.    Tampah

Peralatan lain yang diperlukan:
1.    Kacang Kedelai
2.    Ragi tempe (inokulum RAPRIMA) atau biakan murni Rhizopus sp.
3.    Kantong plastik, atau daun pisang, atau daun jati.

c.     Cara Membuat Tempe
                Pertama tama bersihkan kedelai sampai bersih dengan air bersih agar kotoran yang menempel terlepas dari kedelainaya. Kemudian rendam kedelai nya kedalam wadah yang lebar selama kurang lebih selama 2 jam. Keesokan harinya setelah di rendam, cuci kedelai dalam air mengalir dan remas – remas kedelainya sampai kulit kedelai terlepas dari kedelainya.  Waktunya perebusan . Masukan kedelai yang sudah bersih kedalam panci besar dan mulai merebus yang membutuhkan waktu kurang lebih 1 jam. Kita akan dapatkan bentuk kedelai yang  masih setengah matang. Tiriskan sampai kering. Setelah itu tuangkan kedelai ke wadah yang besar ,ratakan, kemudian tunggu sampai kedelainya dingin. Lalu diremas remas supaya kulit biji tersebut terkelupas dan setelah itu dicuci kembali. Langkah selanjutnya, kedelai direbus hingga matang dengan waktu kurang lebih 30 menit. Setelah itu tiriskan dan di tebarkan di atas tampah tipis.  Setelah itu campurkan 2sdm ragi atau sesuai aturan memakainya dengan kedelai. Aduk sampai merata lalu masukan kedalam plastik yang telah di siapkan. Ukur ketebalannya 3cm. Tutup ujung plastik dengan lilin. Tusuk plastiknya dengan tusuk gigi secukupnya yang penting adalah agarm mendapatkan udara sehingga bisa memulai pembusukan. Taruh ke rak beruji agar terkena sirkulasi tunggu sampai kurang lebih 36 jam. Tempe buatan sendiri siap untuk di sajikan . 
Perhatikan kebersihan tempat kerja dan kebersihan peralatan kerja akan meningkatkan kualitas tempe yang dihasilkan. Suhu ruang yang lebih hangat mempercepat proses fermentasi jamur pada tempe.

A.    Simpulan

            Dapat disimpulkan dari pembahasan tersebut bahwa tempe merupakan makanan yang bergizi dan sehat. Selain itu juga dapat pengganti daging yang harganya jauh lebih murah. Selain itu cara  pembuatannya juga mudah dan tidak menggunakan bahan yang berbahaya.

B.    Saran

1.    Sebaiknya kita jagan meremehkan tempe. Karna tempe mempunyai kandungan gizi yang baik untuk tubuh kita.
2.    Untuk orang yang membuat tempe, janganlah berlaku curang dengan menaruh atau memasukan bahan yang berbahaya untuk tubuh.
